The Muscle Car Lives
...Either you get it, or you don't...

(1993-Present)

The muscle car lives, but the rumors are out about the uncertainty of the F-body's production days. I'm hoping GM continues to make these awesome cars. I've heard and read everything from 2002 is it for production to it only being a couple year production break and then a new retro look F-body will be the 5th generation.

Visually the fourth generation Firebirds stayed pretty much the same from '93 to '97. Then in '98 the bird received an aggressive new nose, different tail lights, and the LS1 V-8 instead of the LT1. With the body change in '93 and the continuation of the corporate engine's in the GM sports cars, the five liter V-8 saw it's last day in the early 90's and for the fourth generation birds the 5.7 is the only V-8.
